Fall Walk

It is nice to get out on walks during the fall before it gets too cold--I have a hard time getting motivated to get outside in the Idaho winters. We try to bundle up Liam as best he can so he doesn't freeze outside in the elements. I love this photo with his smile! What a cutie!

Fall Leaves

We had a great time playing with the leaves this fall. Liam loves pumpkins and keeps insisting that they are "balls"--which is his favorite word to say right now. It is probably the first word that he says every morning--do we have an athlete on our hands?

Loyal Friends

I think Liam has a couple loyal friends--they are especially loyal when he eats!

Mom/Barb/Grandma's Birthday

It was my Mom's Birthday on October 7th! We had her over for dinner--which she even brought the main dish--what a gal!

It was an evening of laughing, good food and the Wii. John and my Mom have a little friendly competition with the Wii--it is very entertaining to watch.

Liam at 14 months

Well, little Liam is getting to be big Liam! He loves to talk--both words we can understand and words I think he hopes that we understand.

He enjoys reading and playing with his cars. Oh and he LOVES the water. He always wants to take a bath. If John or I are in the shower he tries to sneak in with us--he pounds open the door and reaches out for us at the edge of the tub--I included a couple of photos of him trying to get in while I was showering. I predict he will be some kind of swimmer someday--John, hint, hint--can we get a pool? I think Liam really wants one :)

The oven is HOT!

Trying to teach Liam that the oven is hot ended up being more of a comedy than a serious lesson. Once he started laughing though we kind of played it up---it is so hard to be serious when he just laughs at us. John and I really need to start practicing though or the toddler years will be chaos :)

7 weeks along

The pregnancy seems to be going well. We went to one doctor appointment already. The doctor thinks the baby is looking healthy! We got to see the little heart beat and everything!
