Owen and Aksel

My sister Stephanie and my brother-in-law Alex had a baby boy (Aksel) 13 days before Owen was born. They are all in town so we were able to meet him in person for the first time (beside the video chatting we have been doing). He is so cute and it is so fun to be an Auntie! Stephanie and Alex are great parents! It was fun to be doing parenting things with them. Stephanie and I were on the same nursing schedule so we got a chance to sit down together and visit every two hours. :) It is nice having them live on the West Coast again so we can visit them more often! I am already counting down until Christmas! :)

Family Meeting Owen

It was so fun to have family in town for my Uncle Bill's 50th Birthday! We had a great time! This was the first time that my family from California got to meet Owen--It was so special to have them meet our sweet little boy!

Going to the Zoo

We bought a family pass for the zoo this year! So much fun! So far we have gone twice. We found we have better luck with the animals being awake when the zoo firsts opens in the morning. It is a fun family activity that I can see us doing a lot this year.
