Dad's Visit

My Dad came and visited us this week. This was the first time that he has met Liam, Owen, Eleanor (our dog), seen our home and only like the third time he has met John. So it was great to have him come out, see our life and really have a chance to get caught up on each other's lives. We spent a lot of time relaxing. We went to the library, zoo, walks, parks and spent a lot of time at home. My Dad brought his dog and Liam and him became good pals. Liam loved to give the dog his food and I am pretty sure the dog liked it too! :) It was nice to have my Dad spend time with us and hopefully we can start to make it a regular occurrence.

Turtle

Liam, Owen and I went to the zoo today with my Dad. It is always fun to look at all of the animals and it was neat to see my Dad do an activity with us that we really enjoy. The hit for today were the turtles and the Komodo dragon. They also have a pretend Komodo dragon that kids can sit on--don't worry--we won't let Liam next to the real one :)

Overall, the trip to the zoo was a success and a lot of fun!

Dominic (John's cousin) came over last night to visit with us. Liam enjoyed playing with him, showing off his toys, etc. John said that Dominic even tucked Liam into bed last night. He must have been dreaming about him because this is the first thing I heard from Liam this morning...

Liam: "Dominic"

Me: "He went home"

Liam: "Bye Bye"

Liam still had Dominic on his mind that I think I heard him say his name like 30 times by 10:00 this morning so I had to catch it on tape (he starts out saying Dominic and then he gets feisty). I think Liam is a fan! :)

Owen's Smile

Owen is about 2 months old in this video. He has been starting to smile--which is the sweetest thing! I think I could watch him smile all day long and never get sick of it!
