Summer Has Arrived

Well it is officially summer, or has been for a while now. :) We have been doing well! Liam and Owen are going to school still over the summer. In Liam's class, he has been going on several field trips-which he absolutely loves. John, myself, and my mom have all been able to take part on some of the field trips which is so much fun!
In Owen's class this summer he has been practicing sitting during circle time, practicing how to say his first and last name, and is even at the beginning stages of potty training! I know! Big stuff I tell you...or he will tell you, "I'm big!"

We have been loving the long Boise summer days and have been trying to get outside as much as we can....lately it has been in the 100s which makes it a bit harder to get outside. We have a season pass at the Zoo so we try to get there as much as possible! At home, Liam and Owen love doing art and also love being super heroes!
Overall, things here are going great!

Owen's Favorite Things

Owen loves many things in this wonderful world. Some of Owen's favorite things right now include.....

Babies! Owen loves babies! He is in the "baby room" at daycare and whenever I have gone in there to visit he seems to love babies. He will say "baby" and go give them a kiss.

Balls and Balloons! Owen loves both equally and can always spot them wherever we go! He especially likes the party isles at grocery stores that have a lot of balloons! Oh jeez! I think you can hear him throughout the whole store saying "Ball!" or "Balloon"--or his version of that word!

Dogs! Owen loves dogs! When Stephanie and Alex were visiting Owen couldn't get enough of their pug Sean! Owen also really enjoys our dog Henry even though he is quite a bit bigger, he is still very patient with Owen.

Dancing! Oh man! Owen has got the moves! He loves to dance! Put on any kind of music and he goes bananas!

Food! Owen has a large appetite and always seems hungry! Owen also loves the sweets, though we try to limit them, if he sees a cookie he will say "mine."
