Owen Isaac is named after John's grandfather--Isaac Echeverria. Here are some photos and a video of when they met. Unfortunately, a day or two after they met, Ike was put on hospice and then less than two weeks after that he passed away in his home surrounded by family. It is a very sad time for the Echeverria family but we are so blessed to have known Ike and to hear him call Owen, "Isaac" (Ike pronounced him E-Zak, which is how his name was pronounced by his parents in Basque).
