We went to the Boise Zoo today! It was a warm spring day in Boise and John's last day before he started his internship, so we decided to spend the day together as a family and hit the zoo. Liam loved looking at komodo dragon and the penguins the best (probably because that is what he could see the best). He took a ride on the merry-go-round. Wow! He looked so big on that giraffe! He got on it like no big deal! I started to get dizzy going around and around but we still had fun!
Since it was so warm out, we decided to get some snow cones and sit in the park after the zoo. Liam had his first snow cone today. It was just plain ice but he loved it just the same. It probably felt good on his teething gums. After the snow cone we walked over to the rose garden to smell all of the beautiful flowers.
It was a perfect little family day!
