Visit with Aunt Jan and Laura

My cousin Laura got a job in Chicago-so she is driving from California to Chicago with her mother to get her all moved in. They made a pit stop for the weekend in Idaho! It was so great to see them! We had a blast playing Apples to Apples--I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! We also took a nice walk on the Greenbelt and spent time playing with the boys. This was the first time Laura met Liam and Owen and they both took to Laura very quickly! It is always great to meet a nice person to play with!

Owen is 3 Months Old!

Owen is 3 months old! I can't believe it! In a way it seems to have gone so fast but then again it seems like he has been with us forever.

I just have to say when I think of Owen I think of what a little darling he is. He is so happy all of the time--he rarely cries so when he does I know something is really wrong. He sleeps well--only wakes up once during the night between 9pm and 6am--which is AWESOME! :)

He loves to smile now and I try to do anything to make him smile! :)

He is starting to use the Bumbo chair to practice his sitting--his neck is still a little wobbly so we don't have him in it for too long.

More tidbits about Owen--he has the most beautiful blue eyes (I am curious if they will change color, so far they haven't), he is also growing back some of his hair that he lost--one of John's aunts said he has the 'Basque hair line'--not much in the front but some on the sides and back. :). Owen is a growing boy--He is already up to 15 pounds!

It is such a pleasure getting to know Owen and to see him grow! We are so delighted to have Owen in our lives! He makes me so happy every day! I am blessed and honored to be his mother!

Liam's 2nd Birthday!

Wow! Can you believe Liam is 2?! Where does the time go? We had a small get together at our home for Liam this year on his special day. We played in the kiddie pool, had a BBQ and opened presents.

So now that Liam is 2, he is talking a lot. He uses a lot of emotion to get what he wants, and when he wants something he usually always says "please." His favorite things right now are his teddy bears, soccer balls, Elmo, Shrek, Cars-the movie and the real thing, his bike and to "tuddle"--which means cuddle he just can't say the "c" sound.

He brings such joy to our lives. He is full of energy and life and always keeps us on our toes. His laugh is the sweetest sound and a kiss from him will make your heart melt. Each day I am always so blessed and honored to be his mother!
